This paper was developed from my research of the evangelism mentioned in Jean Crespin's 1570 Protestant Martyrology titled, "Histoire des vrais tesmoins de la verite de l'evangile, qui de leur sang l'ont signée, depuis Jean Hus iusques autemps present" [or "History of the True Witnesses to the Truthfulness of the Gospel, Who with Their Blood Signed, from John Hus to the Present Time"] (Geneva, 1570).
